How it started

Meet Tina, Professional Grief Coach

Tina is a Nurse Practitioner trained in Psychotherapy, who is also a grief expert. With over 20 years in healthcare experience, Tina has treated patients across the lifespan. After the devastating death of her son, Tina became interested in finding ways to cope with grief more effectively. Traditional grief services and therapy offerings failed to meet her needs while she was acutely grieving, as she felt disconnected to the process and as if the timelines did not match her ever changing moods and feelings.

Tina developed the idea of grief coaching through her own personal experience, and offers specialized therapeutic exercises which help to navigate through specific emotions.  Tina personally uses these same principles and exercises to manage her emotions and expectations, allowing her to eventually find some peace. Tina’s peace comes from being able to remember her son as the amazing person he was on earth, while finding ways to continue to honor his memory and accomplish tasks she feels would make him proud.

Our Approach

Complete Grief Care was designed to offer help to anyone who might be struggling with grief. The concept of Complete Grief Care allows Tina to coach clients in a self-paced program which facilitates healing, on their own timeline.  Complete Grief Care offers individuals a safe place to discuss their loved one, offer and receive hope and support to others, and to utilize proven methods based on therapeutic principles to relieve some of the crushing weight of grief.  Significantly less expensive than traditional therapy, Complete Grief Care offers exercises and tools to choose from to process emotions and reprogram the brain, assisting in navigating a new life without your loved one physically next to you.

{I can not say enough about how transformational it is to have a grief coach.  Nobody knows how to grieve or what to expect. I was able to accept my new reality without my best friend and find ways to honor her.  I know she would be proud of the person I am now.

{Having support to help guide me through the experience of profound grief was very comforting. Grief can be very isolating. I was able to talk about my husband endlessly and was encouraged to let the good memories shine brighter than my sadness.

{Tina helped me to work through my grief after my son passed away.  It was very helpful to know that she has been through extreme grief herself and understands the emotions I was feeling. I am very grateful for her.
